Useful Tips from AIL Users
If there are 4 of you, get the round table in the raised area. Best spot for celeb spotting I reckon. Lots of famous people live around there and seem to visit regularly.

We love this place. Its a bit unique in London really. No airs and graces or standing on ceremony.
A genuinely friendly - no tourists here - local hangout with great food and an amazing wine list.
I think their seafood Linguine is about the best I have tasted outside of Italy! Pizzas are great too.
We also like visiting at weekends for a light Brunch or a full Sunday Roast when we are in the mood.
The back garden is a bit of a sun trap too and a good summer space.

A good pizzeria with plenty of other food options on the menu. Agree it's great in the summer and is usually busy so the atmosphere is good. Pizzas cost around ten pounds each and there is a good selection. Service is friendly and fun, but can be slow at the weekend when the restaurant gets very busy. Best option for pizza in the area.

A pleasant restaurant, particularly in the summer months when the front of the restaurant is opened up and you're almost al-fresco. Quite a buzzy atmosphere in the evening, but less so during the day. And the full menu is not available between the hours of 3 and 530 (I think), which can be limiting if you happen to be around and ready to eat at that time! The inside of the restaurant is also pleasant - it has a canteen feel, so if you want a peaceful fine dining experience its not the place to go. But the menu is fairly extensive and the quality of the food is good. I particularly like the tiger prawn starter and the pizzas are excellent. The prices are not modest, but neither is it overpriced - for 20 quid a head you can have a good meal and share a bottle of wine. The service is generally okay. No standing on ceremony, and it is laid back. Occasionally however, the service has been known to be a bit slow. I have rated this place a 7 out of 10 rating, but as I already suggested, it is the sort of restaurant that comes into its own on a balmy, breezy summer's night. This is when it is at its best.
