Just wanted to say that we had a great experience at this restaurant. The food is really good and inexpensive. The kids menu is effectively the chief preparing something your kids like plus ice cream for £7.95. Bargain. The service was politeness itself. Live singer at the weekend too
If you wish to have a disaterous, insulting and verbally abusive eveningv out then this is the place for you!
The staff are rude and vulgar with the manager being the worst for both service and attitude!
He speaks to you in a condecending manner as well as insults you using vulgar language (i.e. c**t or w***e). I have never been spoken to in such a manner and will NEVER be visiting this restaurant as consider they deal in customer service and making your evening a memorable one to ensure repeat business, they certainly achieved the memorable aspect but i will NOT be visiting there again!
I have visited the restaurant before and thee food was good, service adequate, with a good atmosphere. Last night however was just an absolute disastaster!
We ordered the one of the more reasonably priced wines (as everything on wine list was either to expensive at £30+ per bottle or foreign to the point we had never heard about the wine vineyard before. so to say I was disappointed with the fact that they were out of stock of the 2 wines we wanted is an understatement!
The service from staff was appaling, I DO NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone as if you aree looking for a good atmosphere with polite staff you are better off in Alberts Table or Aqua on the other side of the road as at least there the service (which on all occassions has been wonderful with friendly considerate staff) matches the price/
I am highly upset by the service myself and partner received in this restuarant as we have been in on several occassions and even brought my mother-in-law in as we had been so well catered for on previous visits.
We as PAYING customers should not have to put up with this service as it is not right that they feel they have the right to treat us in such an appaling manner.
I will be seeking further advice on this matter as I dont believe customers of any kind should be spoken to or treated in the manner in which we were yesterday evening.
