Il Calcio

We only discovered Il Calcio recently but are now regulars. Food is superb and it has a cosy atmosphere with delightful staff. Prices are reasonable too. Best home made fresh pasta I have had. If they had problems when they first openened they have definitely sorted them out now! Highly recommended.

Four of us locals decided to give Il Calcio Brompton road a try. The first course of hors d'oeuvres was outstanding. The main course was okay but then it all fell apart. We ordered a second bottle of wine but only got one small glass each (if that). When we asked where the rest of the bottle was we were told that it was finished. We didn't want to make a scene about this so we moved on to desserts which were very mediocre. The final insult (besides being sort changed on the wine) was that at 10:30 pm they brought out our coates and put them on the chair next to us as if to say it's time to
