Absolutely authentic and tasty indian food with the variety of dishes which makes everyone happy. Me and my wife enjoyed thoroughly. The environment is normal not too attractive but the staff is friendly and food is mouth watering. highly recommended. cheers

we walked out in disgust!!! We simply asked for a quiet table. When they attempted to seat us less than half a metre from a family with small children we declined and asked for something in the back. The manager stated that he wanted the place to look busy and it would not be possible. It became very tense so we left without eating. Will definitely not return and discourage anyone else from going there. Went to Bertorelli on St Martins Lane instead. Great food, brilliant service. So I guess he did us a favour really.

This isn't a rant. The quality of food here was the worst I have had in covent garden. The food came out in five minutes. That should of been the first sign it was going to bad. It was shockingly bad. Save your money and go to either Punjab or Massala Zone around the corner.

Really poor customer service. Some of our group ran a little late for the meal, for which we were told we might get chucked out, and got constantly hassled to finish our food while we were eating. And the food was not all that. One of the waiters even had the nerve to start shouting about other guests who were taking "too long" to eat as well. Absolute rubbish. A real disappointment.

This is the worst Indian in Covent Garden. The waiter did not listen to the order and gave us the wrong drinks. We ordered a few very standard dishes that were not on the menu (Aloo chat & Keema rice) and the waiter told us this was not a problem. He later returned after about 5 mins to say they did not do keema rice or coconut rice so we changed to special rice. He then sent another waiter who said they did not do aloo chat (despite doing chicken chat, bombay aloo and aloo paratha). We asked why not and he said the chef wouldn't do it (obviously don't do fresh food). Toilets also smelt of moth balls. Waste of space - absolute rubbish restaurant and it should be closed. Don't go the

I made a reservation last weekend for 12 (& reconfirmed on the day) yet upon arrival there was no table ready for us (restaurant was almost empty) & they actually hurried 1 of their diners to finish her meal to make room for us.

Food portions were extremely small & not enough rice provided (although numerous requests were made for more rice!) we received an additional small plate of rice (for one) to share between 12? For £24 pp it is VERY poor quality, and the standard of service is simply appalling. We walked out still hungry. They do not care for their customers, needless to say we did not pay the service charge that was automatically added to our bill!

The first time I ate here we were overcharged almost £20 - a simple error, the manager said, not looking as horrified as he should have. The second time (I didn't think it could happen twice!) a friend and I had one starter each, a main each, two masala teas, a coffee, a half-pint of Kingfisher beer and water. We weren't given the drinks list but ordered in good faith. The food was ordinary. So imagine my shock when the bill came for £50. The 1.5ml bottle of water we were given without asking for it cost £3.50 (a mark-up of almost 400 per cent). The teas cost £5.90. The coffee £2.50. And £6 in service charge was slapped on automatically. Won't be going back there ever again.
