This modest, economical restaurant offers good healthy food and excellent service. All the dishes are vegetarian, wholesome, tasty and plentiful. Delicious relishes, more-ish lentils, chickpeas, cauliflower, spinach, potatoes, you can have a three-course buffet meal and a drink for under £10.00. Highly recommended.

A dreadful experience, I regret to report and I comment as a committed vegetarian. Poppadoms were cold but even worse stale and not overly crisp. Main course of vegetable biryani should be subtle and lightly spiced but consisted of mere potato and (tinned?) peas in a coarse and runny but excessively hot curry sauce. Overbearing in its strength. Rice was plentiful but invisibly presented under an excessive topping of sliced tomato and cucumber and padded out with chunks of diced carrot. No taste I'm afraid.

My two friend who ordered different dishes gave it 3 and 5 out of 10 but we all agreed that the place is shabby and dirty and the toilets left much to be desired.

Can't believe it would pass a hygeine inspection. Sorry guys!

Indian. Vegetarian. Excellent service. Comprehensive menu. Skip the cheap buffet and go for the al a carte. It'll still probably only set you back around £10 for a three course meal.

Not licenced ... but frankly, at this price and quality you can celebrate with a drink later. Excellent choice.
