I have been a devotee of Kulu Kulu for about 8 years. I think it offers some of the best sushi in London. Far cheaper than Yo! or Itsu, and infinitely better than both, this restaurant is a real gastro gem. I have eaten at Nobu, Koi and a number of other high-end sushi restaurants. I have also spent time in Japan where I ate sushi every day. And, I have to say that Kulu Kulu holds its own up against this mighty competition.
In terms of value-for-money and quality, KK is unbeatable.
And the prawn tempura, salmon and avocado temaki (hand rolls) are probably my favourite thing to eat EVER.
Kulu Kulu Sushi serve an assortment of traditional Japanese dishes including sushi in a busy and lively environment. Catering for vegetarians is also provided. A takeaway option is also available as is a non smoking area.
