This is my favourite Restraunt in London. With family and friends we have had many a splendid night with Rosa and Sebastian and the team at La Ballerina. I'd recommend it to anyone for food and atmosphere, especially if you are going to see a show at the ROH !!!!!

After being recommended this restaurant by a good friend, my expectations were extremely high. Luckily, La Ballerina did not disappoint! The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was excellent. A great night out; would definitely return.

I went to La Ballerina for the second time after seeing a show at the Royal Opera House. Yet again, I was astounded by the quality and level of service. I had the steak (Again!)- I only write reviews after at least 2 great experiences. Well done guys, keep up the good work - see you next month! :)

Staff not attentive - would rather stand around and chat to each other. Furniture & Decorations worn and tired. Lacking any atmosphere. Food ok - though better trying Pizza Express or Zizzi next door. Warning - 15% tip included within the bill & staff extremely rude when I asked to leave a tip separately. Would not recommend!

A quick dinner before a show - very good and very quick and efficient service from friendly staff. Despite probing I was unable to get a straight answer as to whether the staff were the actual recipients of the service charge that was added to my bill without warning.

Having read the reviews on here my wife and I decided to try the restaurant before going to the nearby theatre to see the War Horse(excellent show by the way).
Unless there has been a change of management the other reviews bear no resemblance to the reality.
We had a starter each and a main course each and every dish was extremely poor and tasteless. The food had a packet micro wave appearance and taste and whilst we were there most of the food was returned by the other unfortunate diners half eaten. We did not stay for a sweet and went instead to the excellent Valeries Pattiserie nearby for that.
We would not return to La Ballerina if we were paid to eat there.

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner there and it was excellent all the way from the food to the presentation. Although, I have been to London only twice, I have gone here both times and will return again on my next trip to London.

This is an excellent restaurant, with a very friendly atmosphere, great service and truly beautiful food at an affordable price. It's a gem for Covent Garden. Would strongly recommend to anyone who likes Italian food!

My husband and I stumbled across this restaurant as the Italian we had planned to go to had a 30 minute waiting time but it was the best decision! The food was lovely and the restaurant although small was intimate and cosy without feeling cramped. The food was lovely and perfectly cooked with the staff being attentive but not overbearing. For a centrally located restaurant the prices were reasonable. Only reason we couldn't give it 10 out of 10 was the lack of choice on the dessert menu, a few more choices and it would definiately have been a 10! Will be sure to go back next time we are in London
