Zizzi
Italian Restaurant in Earl's Court
Zizzi is a chain of traditional Italian pizza and pasta restaurants that cook all their pizzas in wood burning ovens. Guests are advised to phone for details about catering for private parties and seating on the pavement area is provided, weather permitting. A takeaway menu is available.
Me and the missus went there on a sunday evening to try some italian for a change. The pasta was pretty average, but my pizza was really poor (whole pizza had 2 tiny basil leafs which was proclaimed to be one of the main ingredients)
When i politely asked if i could get some more toppings i was denied and one of the persons in charge (not the waiter) told me that the reason my pizza was so poor is because i chose the cheapest one on the menu!!!!
one of the rudest places i have ever encountered in my life, and the only one where personal makes fun of you instead of helping.. AVOID IT

Ate at Zizzi earls court 27/1/2010.
At first waiter was very nice but soon went down hill from there.
We oreder the starter for two very nice, then the main course came i odered a pizza my wife ordered meeat balls, first one she ate was nice and hot, went to east the rest and they where cold. Called the waiter over, asked if we would except a swwet on the house rather than take the meat balls back to the kitchenm we of course said no we would like the meat balls cooked properly and hot, he took them away that is when the service became very poor. eventually the meal arrived by which time i had finished mine, then the comments started from the waiter the classic one when asked do we want coffe we said no thankyou he replied it will be hot and you never know you may find a hot meatball in it. This was the last straw of a rubbish meal. if this is how the staff treat the customers when they obviously struggle to microwave pre prepared meatballs and when you dare to asked for hot food and they struugle to see they have done anything wrong then take my advise and stay well away, but if you do go and they are busy best a look faulty towers springs to mind.
Busy enough, didn't have what I wanted. Opted for the house special. Obviously made in bulk and then microwaved. This was disappointing especially the blandness. Wine fine, service good but when got busy pressure put on to vacate - understandable but not adding to the experience.
