The Scotch Steak House

Myself, my mother & brother visited this restaurant on Saturday evening 23 May 2009, before a show. The manager was quite aggressive in his manner taking our order and spoke quite rudely to his two staff members which was audible to the customers. The salmon was half raw. The medium to well steaks were bordering on raw and unedible. The salad which accompanied the steaks was dry and you had to pay extra for the chips. We ordered mushrooms and onion rings as side orders, which was regrettable as the mushrooms came in a bowl swimming in butter and the onion rings were frozen ones that you could pick up from any supermarket. And all for the extremely high price of £80!!! I would certainly not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

From our trip to England in 2006 i still remember this place. Bad. As the most expensive, poorly cooked steaks. And a cover charge of some kind. It cost me 100 pounds for my wife and I, and our 3 kids, I was so dissapointed. The place was empty, while across the street the place was packed.Should have thought about it.

Food overpriced and not very tasty. Service was poor and some members of staff had a language barrier which made ordering a little difficult.
The restuarant was not busy but we and several other customers asked to ask to be served their food or a dessert menu which was also uninspiring.
Would not eat there again - sorry

Food was OK apart from some sort of sauce which was SUPPOSED to be garlic sauce? Service very slow with drinks few people walked out - tired of waiting. Don't agree with the service charge which is added to the bill as the service not worthy!

A bit overpriced for the tiny steaks as was offered. A bit of seasoning and meat tenderizer would have gone a long way. Waiter seemed to play favourites amongst the patrons leaving us to freeze beside the door.
