We enjoyed the meal of Fish and Chips & Mushy Peas, although when we asked if we could have ordinary peas instead of Mushy, the Waitress told us that they dont have "ordinary". Also, on being presented with the Bill, notiiced a "COVER CHARGE" of £2. On questioning the poor Waitress again as to the meaning of this , she really couldn't give a reasonable answer. It also said Service Charge not included. Perhaps someone could enlighten me on this extra charge? Because of this, we did not leave a Tip, therefore the Waitress missed out and she was by no way to blame.

Eventually arrived with menus, then later for drinks, then later again with 2 small rolls & rock hard butter, charged at £1 each. Extremely hot & although 2/3 fans placed around, not enough to cover huge area & people fanning themselves. No mention that chips/jacket/potatoes extra & that just paying for steak & small salad. Steaks arrived with well over-priced side orders. Medium steak was rarer than medium-rare one. Pointed out to staff, did not seem to care, took it away for further cooking.Steak still undercooked. Needed to cool off, visited gents, messy, severalseveral taps not working and no working hand-driers. Sure that Trading Standards interested to know pints coke served as 16oz.

We were on a day trip to London taking in Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament and then finishing with a show, so we thought it would be nice to get near to the theatre and relax over a good meal and a few drinks.
My wife saw an Aberdeen Angus Steak House near to The Prince of Wales Theatre and said that she had always had a good meal at Aberdeen Angus Steak Houses, so we thought we would visit. The outlet in question was next door to TGI Friday’s, which we now wished we had gone to.
The welcome from the staff was well below average and we were “plonked” in a very hot and uncomfortable restaurant. A member of staff eventually arrived with menus, then a while later someone came t
