Lihiniya

We had a wonderful meal lunch today; chicken and dal curries and okra and curried green beans. Delicious washed down by a cold Lion beer and woodapple juices as starter. I went with my 97 y o cousin and we were treated almost like family. We will be going back!

I've been going to Lihiniya for several years. It's not much to look at but this is authentic and very good traditional Sri Lankan food very nuch like going to your aunts place. If you're not familiar with the cuisine is quite hot (but Mepali will tone it down if you ask) and light. A definite recommendation.

Hoppers and string hoppers are the best. If you have visited Sri Lanka
and this is the right place to enjoy a typical Sri Lankan authetic meal
Don't forget egg hoppers and pol sambol mouth watering
You can enjoy Sri Lankan Beer Lion larger as well
