Yes this is a gem of a restaurant and the portions are huge! How many places in London can you say that of nowadays?
The Pizzas have nice thin crusts (proper bella figura) and the house wine is most quaffable. Book ahead, especially if you want to eat upstairs, as it gets pretty full.

I have eaten at Amici many times, it's a local restaurant for local people with a relaxed atmosphere - the owners are often present and great hosts. The food is good home cooking - abundant, tasty. Great pizzas and rich pasta sauces. My favourite starter is the artichoke bruschetta (pronounced broo-sket- ta people) it's big enough to share with you significant other. A great main is the calves liver cooked to perfection (NOT like an old piece of cardboard). You do have to be a bit patient with the waiting staff though. Enjoy!
