I have eaten here since I was little and the style has never changed since gran was cooking till her grandchildren a truly authentic Chinese style of cooking that hasn't changed over time. Try it once.

I stumbled on this little restaurant last year for the Chinese New Year celebrations and have been back a few times since. I went last Friday to celebrate my Birthday since I (and my friends) really love the food. It is freshly prepared, piping hot and the Aromatic Crispy Duck is the BEST I have ever had. Crispy skin and soft meat! I couldn't fault anything.
The decor is modest and the service can be a bit like Faulty Towers but that just adds to the pleasure and entertainment!

Being new to Richmond we passed this place and thought we would try it. Although the setting was basic we thought the food would be good but it was truly terrible. Simply the worst meal I have ever eaten. The food was dripping with oil and was all served warm not hot. The food also had a stale quality about it too. My boyfriend and I could not eat what we ordered despite being very hungry !
Do not eat here it was disgusting.

I have been using this family-run restaurant for about thirty years, and it is quite exceptional! A pleasant interior, with clean, adequate furnishings, and a hearty welcome for all. Here is a place where families are made to feel truly wanted.
The food is Peking style in general, and the standard of cuisine is excellent. An extensive menu, with a range of dishes from the well-known to the quite exotic, enables one to visit regularly and still ring the changes to avoid falling into a rut of sweet and sour pork and chicken chow mein! The service leaves absolutely nothing to be desired, and both the family and staff are most attentive to your wishes.
Value? You will be amazed how reasonable it all was!
