big disapointment!
we had to wait for a long time to get any service, despite it not beeing very busy. the waiters were very unproffesional.

wine: was ok, but overprized. very expensive.

starters: were nice. stick to that!

main course: disgusting! it (chicken) was burned and vegetables was overcooked.

they also added 12 % service for this which I found very rude. I will not go back there even if my life depended on it.

With a friendly atmosphere, freshly-prepared food from a sensible menu (not a ridiculously vast range of choices) and a reasonable wine list, Il Siciliano is a very good place to choose and to return to -- they remember your face, which is gratifying. Grilled sardines with garlic and chilli are particularly delicious, and the pasta is judiciously cooked to perfection.
This place is so comfortable that it is easy to stay around a bit and have another drink -- but the reasonable prices do mount up in this way!

Congratulations to Il Siciliano Restaurant 33 Dean Street. The food is freshly prepared and really excellent and the staff are friendly and efficient. Nice to see smiling faces! This is a restaurant I would return to with pleasure.
