Ordered a chicken Katsu curry.
The rice was great, the bread crumb chicken was nice too. The curry sauce was a huge(very watery) let down. If the sauce was thicker and had more substance, it would have been a strong 9/10

Delivery took an hour longer than advised (2hours in total from ordering to receiving the food) with several promises of "2 minutes trust me". A more honest approach would have been useful as had guests at the table absolutely don't mind waiting for good food but is hard to plan without a reliable time. Two salads missing from the order and the chicken in the bento boxes were cold which was disappointing but the conversation on the phone had been so unpleasant that we did not feel we could ring back. Better customer service training for staff on the phone staff would certainly entice us bac

We went to Edo for lunch while visiting our friend in Crystal Palace, as we do enjoy our Japanese. From the outside it didn't look the most appealing however that was short lived after being seated by the very welcoming and helpful waitress. It's great toward the back of the restaurant, the menu is vast with great variety (even for our very picky friends) and came done very well with great presentation. The prices are what you'd expect for a Japanese, we left very pleased and even had the door held open for us on our exit. If only we lived closer! Make sure you stop by this restaurant, you'll be very thankful you did.

Edo is one of my favorite indulgences for home delivery. The food arrives presented very well. I have been ordering sushi from Edo since they opened and have not been dissappointed yet. It's a bit expensive, but that's probably why I think of it as a real treat. There are not enough good quality home delivery restaurants around. But Edo is one. I would recommend the tobiko scallop, soft shell crab and exotic california cut rolls. Their siu mai is also delicious, served with a small salad and a smattering of mustard. Wonderful!
