Where: Kanada-Ya, Shoryu Ramen, Tonkotsu and Bone Daddies
It’s the latest food craze to take New York by storm, so unsurprisingly it’s on its way to London. We can imagine vendors are rubbing their hands with glee at this new addition to the paleo diet, another recent trend. Bone broth is essentially the stock you get from boiling bones, and according to nutritionists it’s full of minerals and other nutrients that benefit digestion, boost the immune system and even reduce cellulite. Currently bone broth is available in ramen dishes at places like Kanada-Ya, Shoryu Ramen, Tonkotsu and Bone Daddies; alternatively you can make your own by asking your butcher for bones or ordering a carcass from delivery service Abel & Cole. We’re expecting versions of NYC’s bone broth bar Brodo to arrive shortly – you heard it here first.
