Charity Exhibition - All is Fair in Love and War

The world around us has become all too familiar with war, be it our own internal struggles that can become a daily ‘war’, to the wider context of large-scale conflicts between countries and peoples. Whilst war has become a fact of life, it has also led to most of us becoming greatly desensitized to its true impact and consequences. Then we have 'love', which connects us all on a basic human level.

Performances from The Dark Tides

Treaties are negotiated by governments; peace is made by people. With this in mind, the exhibition is delighted to support Seeds of Peace. In the face of some of the world’s most intractable conflicts, Seeds of Peace gives rise to new generations of leaders uniquely inspired and equipped to build lasting peace. Since 1993, Seeds of Peace has set the standard in international peace-building by providing exceptional young people and educators from regions of conflict with an otherwise impossible opportunity to meet their historic enemies face-to-face at our International Camp in Maine.

Over the last 20 years, Seeds of Peace has intensified its impact, dramatically increasing the number of participants, represented nations, and programs. From 46 American, Egyptian, Israeli and Palestinian teenagers in 1993, they have expanded their programming to include young leaders (“Seeds”) from across the Middle East, South Asia, Cyprus and the Balkans. Their leadership network now encompasses nearly 5,000 Seeds. Currently, they are actively working in the Middle East, South Asia, and the United States.
