The Amadè Players play the ‘Foundling Hospital version’ of Handel’s Messiah, as performed in 1760, which unusually included horns in the orchestra. A pre-concert talk will tell the history of the Messiah performances at the Hospital, and explore the baroque instruments used in the orchestra in Handel’s day
