THE PLAYGROUND and TRAPaTRAP are pleased to announce a trap and bass event on Saturday the 5th May @ Warehouse venue SHAPES until the late hours of the morning. Bringing over three Trap legends from the states and Canada including PAPER DIAMOND, LOUDPVCK and KEYS N' KRATES who will be playing a live show this is one event not to be missed. Please note that tickets are limited and are expected to sell out well in advance!

Based in Colarado, Paper Diamond has had a meteoric rise to fame within a short period after making his debut with the 2011 LP, 'Levitate'. Soon after his debut he began touring the States making a name for himself and made a huge global impact after getting picked up by Mad Decent frontman Diplo. After putting his own energetic twist on a well know Diplo track he featured as the guest DJ on BBC 1Xtra's Diplo and Friends. He has since returned to his monumental tour across North America selling out 2000 capacity events and is set to make his first ever UK debut at Shapes May 3rd.

Trap duo LOUDPVCK consist of NY based Kenny Beats and LA resident Ryan Marks, both of whom bring something different to the production process. With Kenny's hip-hop background and Ryan's deep understanding of electronic music the pair meet in the middle creating some hard-hitting trap. After their remix of Flosstradamus' "Original Don" in 2012 the pair blew up and have since made big moves, touring around the US and working on a number of high profile remixes including the sought after remix of Jackal's "Shakedown". Beyond this the pair are known for their energetic sets so are definitely worth catching whilst in England.

Making their first UK appearance the Canadian trio have been tipped as the worlds only "trap band". Consisting of drummer Adam Tune, keyboard player David Matisse and award winning turntabalist Jr. Flo, the band are set to have a successful year. Having toured their unique sound across North America the group have since released an impressive EP "SOLOW" on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak records, which was featured on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show. premiering their exclusive live show this May at Shapes, KEYS N KRATES are act you do not want to miss.

The London based duo need little to no introduction as their heavy catalogue of releases speaks volumes on their place in bass music. The pair have deep-seated roots in dub-step with their debut self released 12" Chucky / Hangover. Beyond this they have worked with a number of well known artists including Foreign Beggars and Skrillex. The pair continue to tour globally and have recently had a guest slot on Skream's Radio 1 show.

Known for his deep and dark take on dub-step the Kent-based producer has been around since dub-step's early days. He is commonly known for his soundcloud page and seems to churn out heavy hitting tunes at an alarming rate. The veritable workhorse has hard a number of label releases including work on Prime Audio, Sequence Recordings and Bovinyl Moosick. If you are a fan of the darker side of dub-step we wouldn't suggest missing him this May at Shapes.

Based in Brighton, England, Ozzie quickly made an impact dropping his "Attention" EP early last year. His follow up EP "Whiskey & Coke" caused just as much of a stir and has since featured as the guest DJ on BBC Radio 1Xtra. With their energetic lo-fi trap influenced sound, their Shapes show is set to explode.

Londoners, Tigerblood, are the final addition to the lineup and are no strangers to the game. Known better for their remix work, the duo have since released their 'Celestial' EP, picking up some great responses. Their trap-induced style makes for a perfect addition to this epic warehouse line up.
