The South London Concert Series presents a very special concert at a unique London venue.
Emmanuel Vass, BBC Music Magazine's March "rising star", will give a piano recital with supporting performances from talented members of the London Piano Meetup Group. The programme includes music by Turina, Granados, Debussy and Chopin.
Described by The Independent as "one to watch", Emmanuel has been praised for his suave showmanship and his ability to merge traditional classical piano repertoire with his own transcriptions.
The concert takes place in the opulent Saloon at Brunswick House, a Georgian mansion just five minutes from Vauxhall Station, flanked by the brand new 5-star hotel and luxury apartments of One Nine Elms. Brunswick House, part of the London Architectural Salvage and Supply Co, is a treasure trove of antiques and curiosities and offers a wonderful and eclectic venue for a fine evening of music making and conviviality.
Ticket price includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival, and guests are invited to join the performers and hosts in the restaurant afterwards for dinner.
The South London Concert Series is an innovative concert concept which brings professional and amateur musicians together in the same formal concert setting at some London's most intimate and beautiful small venues. The concerts recreate the atmosphere of the 19th-century musical salon with music and socialising amongst friends.
