Georgia Mancio with Nigel Price (gtr) & Julie Walkington (dbs)

Since winning the 2005 International Young Singers Award in Brussels, Georgia has steadily built a career that puts her, in the opinion of many critics, at the top of the list of ‘new generation’ female singers. Though much of that reputation comes from her enthusiasm for Portuguese and Italian songwriters, for this concert Georgia returns to her first love – some of the great standard songs beloved of audiences worldwide. Nigel leads an extremely successful organ oblique/guitar group in the UK, but working with Georgia brings out his more pensive side. She will also be joined by one of her favourites, Julie Walkington, with her big, rich sound and great time.
