CHARLIE LANDSBOROUGH

SPRING TOUR 2014

It’s been 20 years since Charlie Landsborough first shot to fame with ‘What Colour Is The Wind’, the song that has become his signature tune and still gets regular radio play.

But the story doesn’t end there. Over the years Charlie has released some 27 albums and a plethora of singles. A new album, Here, There and Everywhere, featuring songs by Sir Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison, is scheduled for April 7th release.

On March 14th Charlie heads out on the road again to play selected dates across the UK. The shows come as the sequel to his successful 2013 Tour with its Amateur Choir Challenge.

The new dates see Charlie showcasing material from Here,There And Everywhere as well as much loved favourites from the past and more recent album tracks.

His melodic, lyrical brand of Americana and finely honed ballads have touched the hearts of people all over the world while the stories that intersperse his live performance are alone worth the price of admission.

He is joined on the road by his regular band for what promises to be an exceptional evening of music, good humour and inspirational playing. Indeed, as BBC’s Gerry Anderson so aptly put it, "Charlie's like good wine, he matures quietly over a long period of time, when the cork was popped it was well worth the wait".

Charlie Landsborough has recorded albums in Nashville, won many Country music awards and has had his songs covered by various stars including George Hamilton IV, Daniel O’Donnell, Jack Jones, Pat Boone and Foster & Allen.
