International Festival of Playwriting and Performance 2014

Join Trinity College London for four days of theatre, live music, workshops and more!

The festival will feature the premiere performances of the winning plays from Trinity's 2013-14 International Playwriting Competition, as well as an array of other events for all ages.

What’s on?

Matinee and evening performances of prize-winning plays from Trinity’s International Playwriting Competition will be held each day.

A number of workshops, musical performances and other activities will run alongside the plays. There will also be performances and activities aimed at primary and secondary schools, and a day of activities for budding writers.


Secondary Schools' Day
Wednesday 7 May
10.30am–3.00pm
A practical and informative day of free activities aimed at secondary school students and teachers.

Writers' Day
Thursday 8 May
12.00pm–8.00pm
An interactive and informative day of activities and performances aimed at playwrights and creative writers.

Primary Schools' Day
Friday 9 May
11.00am–3.15pm
A fun, interactive and educational day of free activities aimed at primary school children and teachers.

The Playwriting Gala
Saturday 10 May
1.00pm–9.00pm
The festival’s finale, Saturday will include a range of activities and performances for all ages, and features performances of the two winning plays from Trinity’s 2013–14 International Playwriting Competition as well as previous prize-winning plays.
