Oktoberfest

The London Oktoberfest is a commercial event being held in Kennington Park on the 18th - 21st and again from 25th - 28th of September (with a small fee Saturday).

With a 3,300 person capacity, this mid-sized festival is one that we hope to make a recurring event which brings a friendly Bavarian party to London each year.

London Oktoberfest’s goal is to bring Bavarian culture and fun to London.Our event allows patrons the opportunity to experience a new culture from the comfort of their home town. Starting with the construction of a 3,800 m2 tent, a Bavarian beer hall will be recreated in Kennington Park. To successfully capture the spirit of Munich, the tent is decorated in the signature blue and white of the Bavarian flag. Visitors will be served imported German beer and food (including sausages and sauerkraut) by wait staff dressed in dirndls and lederhosen. The band (coming from Germany as well) will complete the effect with traditional and contemporary German music, mixed with some British pop music.
