SohoCreate is a brand new festival which will bring together the very best creatives to share their wisdoms, thoughts, experience and ideas revealing what inspires and motivates them in innovative and engaging sessions. From the 4-6 June 2014, this festival will celebrate Soho as the capital of creative employment and a global destination for like-minded creative individuals, businesses and organisations.

It will deliver an unparalleled programme of creative insights from a wide range of specialists. It’s a crucial event for anyone working in the creative sectors and people interested in getting an inside track on where ideas come from and what drives creative people to do what they do. Festival goers will hear directly from the likes of Chief Creative Officer of Fitch Tim Greenhalgh, advertising guru Sir John Hegarty (co-founder of Ad Agency BBH), Frieze Art Fair founder Matthew Slotover and prominent architect Sir Nicholas Grimshaw (Eden Project, Waterloo Int Station). Also involved are world-renowned photographer Nadev Kander (Obama, Prince Charles, Ricky Gervais), restaurateur Mark Hix and two times Ivor Novello winning songwriter/ producer Sasha Skarbeck (working with Boy George, Kylie, Sir Paul McCartney). From the world of fashion; Jewellery designer Pippa Small, fashion designer Helen David and Tatty Devine co-founder, Harriet Vine. SohoCreate are delighted that Theatre Director Jeremy Herrin (Wolf Hall, Bringing Up The Bodies), artists Rob Ryan and Yinka Shonibare and musicians Toyah Willcox and Gary Kemp are also confirmed to take part. These intimate, one-off conversations will give an exclusive insight into each artist’s experiences, thoughts and opinions. Conversational themes will also explore how creativity flourishes or fades under different commercial pressures, the role of teams and creative collaboration and the infinite places, people, ideas and influences that generate inspiration. Individual session titles will be announced on Monday 14th April
