Gin School - Edgerton Pink

Every Monday night a different producer will be with us to talk you through their gin and give a tasting. The events are free to attend and there are complimentary drinks – no catches! Please feel free to arrive as early as you like and grab those prized seats round the bar.

Edgerton is resolutely London-based and is London's first Pink Gin. The pinkness derives from the pomegranate, noted in antiquity as ‘that most salutiferous of trees’ and giving a beckoning blush to the spirit. Traditional botanicals such as coriander, angelica, juniper, orris root, sweet orange peel, cassia bark, nutmeg are combined with damiana (a Mexican herb traditionally given to honeymoon couples but chosen here for its smoky-minty overtones) and Grains of Paradise (a prized gingery pepper said in medieval times to be gathered at dusk from the rivers that flowed out of Eden!). Crisp, sharp and full of flavour.
