Our monthly theatrical tea party: Ist edition - Celebrating Ageless London

Ladies & gentlemen of a theatrical bent. You are cordially invited to a Madhatters tea-party. Tea, cake, artistic delights, nourishing drama, comedy, musical interludes plus unexpected twists & turns. Fancy a thoroughly decent British haircut? Louise Dean of Barbarian Cuts is on hand to see to your barnet.

The theme for the launch on the 12th of April is " London - a Celebration".

Do bring along an homage to this fair city of ours in the form of... perhaps; a poem, a short story, a song, a book. Robert Pereno the Master of Ceremonies will gently encourage you to be a part of the two hours traffic of our stage. But fear not dear shy one for though you are more than welcome to be a part of the show you can just let the actors in us do the rest.

The magical poets that are Ana Sefer & Alice Maddicot will be reading their mesmerising poem 'The City'...A captivating atmospheric poetic dialogue that will transport you beyond the bricks & mortar that surround us.

Please rock up around 2.30 for the show twixt 3pm & 5pm. Fancy a cuppa? After the curtain has drawn I will sup an English pint or two. You are more than welcome to join me. Our book of the Month is Mo Foster's 'A Blues For Shindig'. A recreation of Soho during the 1950s, a centre for misfits & outsiders. Mo was one of them. You will love the book & adore her. Signed copies on sale.

Free entrance - but do bring a paper-back book to swap or leave. " Go where we may, rest where we will...Eternal London haunts us still"

Yours forever dramatically: Robert Pereno xx [email protected]

PS Our very special guest is London musical legend " Frances Mckevitt"
