Painting Signs with Peter Hardwicke and Mateusz Odrobny

This one-day workshop is an intensive introduction to signwriting. Participants will rapidly moving through the basic technical skills required before gaining practical experience of a variety of letterforms in the signwriters toolbox. These will include gothic and script styles, among others.

The workshop is highly interactive with most of the time spent working with paint and brush to play with and create letters, and then words. Throughout the day there is plenty of personal input from the signwriter facilitators to ensure that you receive the feedback and input that you need to make progress. This allows you to move at your own pace and to gain some of the critical skills to continue to practice in your own time.
