Polar explorer Ben Saunders successfully completed the huge feat that is Captain Scott's failed Terra Nova expedition - walking 1795 miles to the South Pole and back and breaking the world record for longest ever polar journey on foot. Ben is holding his first public speaking engagement in the UK (he recently spoke at TED 2014 in Vancouver) since the expedition on 10th April at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington.

Land Rover is delighted to invite you to an exclusive evening with Polar Explorer and Global Ambassador Ben Saunders at the Royal Geographical Society on Thursday 10th April.The event will be Ben's first public speaking engagement following his successful completion of The Scott Expedition - a 1,795 mile trek across the inhospitable landscape of Antarctica on a return journey to the South Pole and achieving the world record for the longest polar journey on foot.Ben will be recounting the epic struggles that he and team mate Tarka L’Herpiniere faced as they took on one of the most challenging feats in polar history. Ben will also share his thoughts and feelings on being part of the first team ever to complete Captain Scott's iconic journey.
