Miniature Steam & Electric Train Rides in Ridgeway Park Chingford. Every Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday afternoon from 2pm to 5:30pm during the summer (6th April until 5th October 2014) train rides are available at 60p or £1.20 depending on the train track. (From July 3th until August 27th, rides are also available on Wednesday afternoons 2pm - 4:30pm). One of London´s best kept secrets in Chingford is the 2 miniature train tracks at the back of Ridgeway Park. (Near the Green Man pub near the top of Chingford Mount).
There is a 1000 foot long 5" raised level track (60p) and a 3000 foot long 7¼" ground level track (£1.20). For further information see website. Kids under 3 go free with a fare paying adult.
