Propercorn’s Pop-up Summer Transforms Golden Square

On Monday 2 June, PROPERCORN will be celebrating the start of summer with the PROPERCORN Pop-Up Summer in Golden Square, Soho. A week-long installation offering an inspiring space for busy workers and passers-by to escape the every day
grind. This will be brought to life further by live music, art and interactive creativity.

The space will be transformed with imaginative life-sized 2D and 3D hand-illustrated scenes depicting both a traditional British picnic and a tropical beach. Each structure is built as a seating space for the community to stop by and enjoy. Props will be on offer to inspire people to create their own environments and scenes within the space.

Whether you want to unwind in a monochrome boat under a roaring white wave, or lunch on a hand-drawn bench under an 8-foot 2D tree, the PROPERCORN Pop-Up Summer will be a place where busy workers can take a rest from their day to reflect, play and indulge their creative flair.

From a funk trio, a single Opera singer to live art and complimentary illustrative manicures, a roster of entertainment has been designed to perfectly complement the summer scene.
