TailSpin presents Night of the Storyteller, a heart-lifting, smile-wringing, imagination-tickling evening of stories and live music.

THE FOUR CHAMBERS
with Clare Muireann Murphy, Tim Ralphs and Cat Gerrard

The heart has its own strange and wonderful ways.

Three storytellers bring tales that will make your heart thump, break, bleed and flutter.

Clare Muireann Murphy is a dedicated curiosist, and a lover of the word; spoken or written. Part Irish, part American, she has lived in both countries, as well as in Spain, and is now based in London. A popular performer around the world, she has performed stories in more than 20 countries and in both English & Spanish. Her storytelling performances are physical and passionate, and she is blessed with an inherently delightful personality that befriends all and sundry. Her last show 'The King of Lies' took TailSpin by storm.

Tim Ralphs is one of the most exciting talents on the British storytelling scene. Teller in residence of the Word Smack Cabaret, host of Sheffield’s The Story Forge, winner of a British Award for Storytelling Excellence in 2012 (outstanding collaboration with Simon Heywood.) and regular guest of the Crick Crack Club, we're lucky to have him at TailSpin for a second month in a row - from Norse marriage shenanigans to the Four Chambers…

Cat Gerrard is a storyteller, puppeteer and director based in London. With a love of physicality and experiment, Cat blends traditional narrative with cross-arts forms, including percussion, shadow puppetry, juggling and even cycling. She is founder, Artistic Director and MC of TailSpin. Recent performing credits include: The Fantasist (Puppeteer/Josie, Theatre Témoin, UK and Ireland Tour); Body Without Soul (Storyteller, TailSpin). She thinks that it is the heart that is important.

Plus music from Pakaw - an all-female combo that pushes the boundaries of the traditional. With Greek music at its core these five tangy, opinionated, international women excite with their sultry vocals and versatile musicianship.

Come early to check out The Miller’s new menu and to sample their excellent selection of beers, wines and cocktails…
