Brixton Craft: The Surrealists

Brixton Craft is going Dada to Gaga! We're literally melting with anticipation, this will be our most obscure and crazy crafting extravaganza to date. Exploring surrealism as an art and concept this month, we will have all your favourites - ceramic, print making, lino-cutting, beading and collaging alongside special extras including painting miniature surrealist master pieces on tiny easels, puzzling over your own jigsaws using your own whacky images, plus expressive use of movement and colour to create your own batik fabric.

Take influence from such artists as Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali, Frida Khalo, Marcel Duchamp and Francis Bacon to name but a few. There'll be visions galore and much much more!
