Michael Jackson remains a dance icon. If you are a fan of his electrifying dance moves and world famous routines, or a dancer inspired by the King of Pop, our Michael Jackson Dance Workshop is a unique opportunity for you to pick up his steps from the experts.

The workshop will work on some of MJ's most famous hits - learn signature choreography from dance videos such as Smooth Criminal, Thriller and many more

The workshop is delivered in a dynamic and practical manner - building up from basic steps to the fully formed routines from the videos.

Michael Jackson Workshop Skills Development:

This class is designed for students who have had little or no dance experience. Exact content may differ depending on the students' needs and class duration, though skills generally covered include:

- Develop understanding of posture: and an awareness of the dancing space
- Lose inhibitions and gain confidence: while developing greater balance, flexibility and strength
- Develop greater balance, flexibility and strength: while learning basic co-ordination and footwork, steps turns slides and isolation
- Learn to dance as a duet, trio and team: and the importance of space awareness whilst performing in a group

Something to Think About:

As with all dance classes there are a few things that you may need to consider:

Footwear: Trainers, jazz shoes or jazz boots. (Specialised stockists such as Gamba Freed and Dancia have outlets in and around London and can provide appropriate footwear).
Clothing: Loose and comfortable – dance wear or gym wear.

It's hot work, so bring a bottle of water.
