Choir of London 2014. Showcasing the 2014 Bursary Scheme for young Palestinian musicians

Enjoy a fantastic evening of music with the Choir of London 2014 Bursary Scheme winners. This event will celebrate the close of the 2014 Bursary Scheme for young Palestinian musicians with an informal recital.

Choir of London maintains a particular focus on developing music education in the Palestinian territories and, since its creation in 2004, has run four large-scale projects in Palestine and developed a special relationship with, and admiration for, the groundbreaking work being carried out by Palestinian music schools.

In 2006 the Choir of London Bursary Scheme was launched to give young Palestinian musicians a chance to visit the UK for a short period of study, it has continued to operate since 2012 with the support of the British Council.
