Singin’ in the Rain is the final movie in our summer film series.
The Hollywood musical never got any better than this rip-roaring Stanley Donen/Gene Kelly classic, a riot of music, dance, colour and spectacle. Gene Kelly and Jean Hagen are one of the great romantic pairs of the big screen – playing a couple of ’20s silent movie stars struggling with the transition to the “talkies”.
