As a celebration of the urban sketching movement, growing as it is from strength to strength, 4 UK based members of global collective Urban Sketchers take over the Moleskine Store in Covent Garden and the nearby London Graphic Centre on Shelton Street for a day of live art and workshops.

This is the ideal way to become involved with the movement. This will be a day to learn about its origins and the philosophy behind it: the idea that you can take ownership of the city that surrounds us all by sketching it one sketch at a time. For those with a keen interest in sketching this event is absolutely essential.

It's an opportunity to experience Covent Garden in a way you never have before, armed with a sketch album and supported by expert guidance at every stage.

This event is free, but if you'd like a free Moleskine sketch album, you'll need to download a coupon from their website at the link provided. You will also need to register for the workshop sessions, which will be running as follows:

11:30: James Hobbs at London Graphic Centre
Adebanji Alade at the Moleskine Store
14:30: Andrea Joseph at London Graphic Centre
Olha Pryymak at the Moleskine Store
16:00: James Hobbs at London Graphic Centre
Adebanji Alade at the Moleskine Store
