Live Music in Verdi – JB’s Casual Vices

Born in the dive pubs and late bars of east London, JB’s Casual Vices have been serving up their unique blend of New Orleans-flavoured material since 2010, with the smooth vocals and distinctive “butterfly” piano style of Caledonian bandleader JB backed up by the velvet-gloved punch of his groovy and harmonious band of Casual Vices.

Expect an idiosyncratic mish-mash of jazz standards, jukebox R&B, mellifluous country songs and Jamaican rocksteady, covering the 1930s to the early 1960s and taking in numbers by Nat King Cole, Merle Haggard, Fats Domino, Phyllis Dillon, Ray Charles and many more.
