Oxjam Balham Buskathon

Saturday 9th August will see local artists jamming throughout the day, giving local people the chance to discover new music and support a worthy cause. It all kicks off at 11am at the Balham Community Space (just outside the rear entrance to Sainsbury's Balham) with a series of live acts entertaining the crowds and raising money for Oxfam. Come down and join the fun...it's free!

The line-up includes emerging singers such as Ruth Royall, Dana McKeon and Anoushka Lucas, all of them rocking out the area for charity.

The event aims to raise awareness and money for Oxfam to continue its lifesaving work and promote the Oxjam Balham Music Festival that will be taking place on Saturday 25th for regular updates Oxjam is Oxfam’s month-long music festival that runs throughout October made up of hundreds of events happening around the UK. All the events are organised by teams of volunteers who know and love their local music scene and who want to combine their passion for music with helping those less fortunate than themselves.
