In celebration of our Celebrity Ambassador, Kurt Yaegar (pro BMXer and actor, featuring in Rudimental’s “Waiting All Night” Video, based in Los Angeles) Daytrippers have been inspired and would like to invite some children on the tracks to get familiar with urban sports and/or to improve.
Together with Access Sport, the UAB and Cellar Door Daytrippers will take over Mile End Park on 20th September and make urban sports and arts more accessible for children with special needs encouraging them to pursue what they love doing!
This is a free family friendly event with opportunities for everybody! Workshops are reserved for children with special needs and there will be plenty to keep you entertained for the rest of the day including music, facepainting and balloon modelling for the little ones. Daytrippers and Access Sport will help make the day as inclusive and accessible as possible.
The day will consist of the following:
- 3 different workshops running back to back including BMX (on the track), skateboarding/rollerblading and climbing.
- Performances from live DJs and graffiti artists.
- A dedicated kiddies area with facepainting and balloon modelling.46
- Light refreshments from Ipro Sports and Ribena!
