Developing new ways of relating to food, eating and nourishment
For many of us, the simple act of eating is anything but simple – in particular in a society where food is just as abundant as advice and guidelines on healthy eating.
Mindful eating is about developing radically different and more positive ways of relating to food, eating and nourishment.
It can profoundly transform our relationship with food and eating, and help us eat for greater health, freedom, well-being and enjoyment.
This 2-day course is designed for anyone who would like to improve their relationship with food –whether you are a health conscious eater, a foodie, or have a tendency to over or under eat, are struggling with weight, diet, food and eating issues, or simply want to get more out of life.
During the course you will learn to:
o Tune into your body’s hunger and satiety clues
o Listen to your body’s inherent wisdom about its
nutritional needs
o Eat less and enjoy your food more
o Familiarize yourself with your habits and patterns around
food
o Tune into your motivation for eating
o Be more compassionate towards yourself and any food
issues you may have
The course fee is charged on a sliding scale of £80 / £110 / £150 and includes a practice CD, handout and refreshments.
