This year marks the 50th anniversary of one of London’s most famous landmarks, the BT Tower, so what better reason to take part in the last ever BT Tower Climb and take its spectacular 360 views. It’s all for a good cause too: raising money for UK charity Action on Hearing Loss.

The event offers a rare chance to get up to the top, 34th floor of the iconic tower with fantastic views of London’s skyline – the only thing in the way is its 842 steps!
Last year more than 100 people, including 2013’s deaf Big Brother winner Sam Evans, climbed the 842 steps, raising over £25,000 in support of the charity’s community services and pioneering research into a cure for hearing loss and tinnitus.

David Steadman, Executive Director for Fundraising and Marketing at charity Action on Hearing Loss, said:
“Challenging yourself to climb London’s old communications tower is one of the most unusual charity events you can get involved in – and, now in its last year, this might be your last chance to experience London’s skyline from the top of the BT Tower. Hearing loss affects one in six of us – and, if we’re lucky to live long enough, it could affect us all one day, so why not make a small investment in your future ears today”

With this year’s BT Tower Climb taking place on Halloween, climbers are encouraged to don face paints and non-trip hazard costumes. Tickets are available for £25 each or just £100 for a team on the charity’s website.
