Wildscreen Photography Festival, formerly WildPhotos, is the world’s leading photography event, offering exclusive insight into how our greatest photographers capture the most inspiring images of the natural world.

The annual three-day event will feature workshops designed to offer practical advice to budding photographers and inspirational talks from the best wildlife and conservation photographers from around the world.

This year’s keynote talk will be presented by award-winning photojournalist and dedicated conservationist Tim Laman, who has developed a reputation for capturing near impossible shots of some of the most critically endangered birds in the world.

His talk, View from the Canopy – Revelations and Realities, will focus on rare and endangered species found in the world’s wildest places, from rainforest canopies to underwater kelp forests.

The additional 22 speakers come from across the globe and include Joe Cornish, who’ll be talking about taking a great landscape photograph; Angel Fitor speaking about the challenges and rewards of photographing the remote, dangerous and breathtakingly beautiful Lake Tanganyika in Africa, and Fiona Rogers on photographing primates.

The two days will be compered by well-known TV presenter and photographer Chris Packham and Mark Carwardine, a zoologist and award-winning writer considered to be one of the top 40 most influential nature photographers in the world.

Both are long-time supporters of Wildscreen Photography Festival as well as key drivers of the conservation agenda in the media, offering outspoken views and unique insight into the role the media can play in tackling this important issue.
