Acclaimed author, historian and former Member of Parliament Mr Rupert Allason otherwise known as Nigel West will attend as our guest of honour. Mr Allason who is described as the "unofficial historian of the secret services" by the Sunday Times and has received numerous awards for his books on espionage, will talk to us about modern espionage matters.
To complement that we are bringing a flare of espionage from the world of film, with two very well-known actors and namely:
Mr Shane Rimmer that has performed in three James Bond films ("Diamonds Are Forever", "You Only Live Twice" and "The Spy Who Loved Me") as well as the "Spy Game" with Robert Redford, "Bourne Identity" and "Thunderbirds" and
Ms Valerie Leon the ever glamorous icon of the 70's has performed in two James Bond Films ("The Spy Who Loved me" and "Never Say Never") as well as the TV series "The Saint", "The Baron", "Avengers" and "Randall and Hopkirk Deceased".
The V&A Museum's restaurant (oldest of its kind in the world) pianist, Mr Antimo Magnotta will play thrilling music matching our theme throughout the event.
The evening will begin with pre-dinner drinks, followed by a sumptuous 3-couse dinner, espionage talk and artwork display.
Proceedings will support the lifesaving work of the British Red Cross and we are also proud to support the First Story charity.
