The 8th annual Wimbledon BookFest will take place from 3-10 October 2014 in a beautiful, specially commissioned tent on Wimbledon Common. Headliners include Paul Merton (returning to his Wimbledon roots), Clare Balding, Ian McEwan, Alexander McCall-Smith, Colm Toibin, Shami Chakrabarti, Alan Johnson, Michael Rosen, Francesca Martinez and Juliet Stevenson.
But it's much more than just a literary event - there is pop-up cinema and a comedy evening headlined by Josh Widdecombe, as well as a children’s programme featuring CBeebies’ Cerrie Burnell and the ever popular Wombles’ singalong!
