Step inside the abandoned circus and prepare for a spine-chilling sensory feast because the Dark Circus Party is coming to town just in time for All Hallows’ Eve. Taking place on Saturday 25th October at Bloomsbury Ballroom, this Halloween Special will be an evening of macabre thrills and fiendish frolic.

Prepare to behold a banquet of horrors, and become engulfed in the shadows of the circus; a dark, dreamy and depraved world of heady illusion and unbridled spectacle. The Dark Circus Party is an exciting new event that combines Bourne & Hollingsworth’s atmospheric production, delicious cocktails and innovative theming with the striking theatrical performances from the notorious Torture Garden.

The original purveyors of everything dark and thrilling, the creators of Torture Garden are donning their top hats and tails and joining the circus once more for an evening celebrating all that is dark, decadent and debauched. Connoisseurs of the peculiar, Torture Garden’s finest acts will be bringing their very own circus freak to London revellers for a visual and sensory extravaganza.

Upon entering the velvet draped Big Top, hedonists are invited to seek out the bizarre, free their inner exhibitionist and immerse themselves in the weird and wonderful world of the circus. This event promises to be a carnival of curiosities, where guests are encouraged to succumb to an evening of abandoned dancing, pleasure seeking and spectacular entertainment.

Guests can sip on Bourne & Hollingsworth’s delectably potent cocktails and peruse the stage from the intimate curtained areas on the mezzanine level or pay a visit to Miss Marguerite’s painted wagon for a macabre makeover.

The music will be a mix of Electro Swing, Circus Burlesque, Kabaret, Ballroom Blitz and Big Top Party Mash-Ups. DJs for the evening include David TG, Lydia Darling and The Roustabouts.

The dress code for the evening is strict, but stretches the limits of your imagination. Vintage, Glamour & Fantasy with a Dark Circus Halloween Twist (Full costumes or a dash of themed styling):

Tattooed Ladies, Sideshow Freaks, Queens of the Flying Trapeze, Animal Masks, Clowns, Snake Charmers, Lion Tamers, Strong Men, Ring Masters, Burlesque Showgirls, Leopard Print Leotards, Venice Carnival Masque Ball, Berlin Kabaret, Steam Punk, Top Hat and Tails, Feathers and Corsets, Decadent Dandies, Ball Gowns, Cocktails Dresses, Dashing Vintage Suits. Denim doesn’t dazzle, no one swears by sportswear and smart casual definitely has no place in the divinely decadent surroundings of The Dark Circus Party.
