As part of the #SNEAKERSWOULD series running throughout September, Converse are offering lucky fans FREE tickets to see Peace at the 100 Club with special support sets from Childhood and JAWS on Thursday 11th September.

A series of provocative opportunities, SNEAKERS WOULD is designed to encourage creative spirits to cast aside their inhibitions and choose an exciting, spur of the moment path. Those prepared to make a spontaneous decision to drop everything and embrace “sneaker mentality” will be rewarded with ‘now-or-never’ music experiences.

Recognised as the forerunners of the ‘B-Town’ Birmingham indie scene, Peace leapt into the hearts of the public with their joyously escapist debut album ‘In Love’, March 2013. Their heart-on-sleeve indie anthemics, impulsive and charismatic frontman Harry Kossier, and knack for writing a genuine song hook swiftly saw the colourful Birmingham four piece grace every tastemaker music front cover, play two sold out Shepherds Bush Empires shows, and pop a top 20 debut album in their back pocket. Even Usher elbowed his way through the crowds to watch their debut SXSW showcase. The band’s brand new single 'Lost On Me' from their second album is expected on 28th September via Columbia records, so it’s an exciting time to catch them live at this special show.

Support will come from Brixton-based band Childhood, who firmly established themselves on the London new band scene following the release of debut single ‘Blue Velvet’ in October 2012. Their first album Lacuna was released last month receiving strong press reviews.

Completing the line up are fellow B-Towners JAWS, a band with a rapidly growing fan base following the release of debut EP Milkshake last year. This performance comes just before the hotly awaited release of their debut album Be Slowly on 15th September.

Applications for tickets to the 100 Club show opened at 10.00 today (10th September) via http://smarturl.it/PEACE100Club.
