CODENAME SPARROW (onstage @7.45)
Codename Sparrow is a singer songwriter with a full array of the talents.
Influenced by leading lights such as Television, Wire, Mr. Mister, Deerhunter, REM, The Cure and Smashing Pumpkins... powered by primal urges and primitive recording techniques, Sparrow crafts lo-fi AM gems, lint-covered sadcore classics and scuffed alternative rock music.
This is what other people say....

Engagingly scruffy and lo-fi,deeply personal songcraft with a slight whiff of Sebadoh & classic '80s pop about it -Time Out.

Lashings of ambient delay -Playmusic Pickup.

AMINI
Nio Amini is a Norwegian singer-songwriter based in London, England. She formed amini after the addition of Norwegian-born drummer Mattis Moviken.
They self-released her debut EP “between dreams and worldly things” (2014) with Pedro R. Salcedo and Sam Ashtiani.

She's influenced by places she's traveled to, the church she lives in with her Bulgarian flatmate and observations of people's facial-expressions when nobody's looking.

Nio and Mattis usually describe their music as.. music. Sometimes it's about everything, other times it's about nothing, but still it's always something.

Since their debut EP came out in March they have played around in London and Norway.

FLAT 24/7

Flat 24/7 is the colourful, dance- able, alternative indie vibe of three born and bred derby lads, a lovely lady from Leicester and a groovy French drummer. Beginning in early 2013 with acoustic, student hall, through the night jamming, singer Jamie and guitarist Ian found an intricate sound with gritty, soulful vocals and an ear grabbing sense of ease.
In late summer 2013, after playing the ac...oustic stage at Y not Festival, they crossed paths with drummer Cedric who instantly energised the music. Ian’s oldest friend Joe then joined the band, complementing the sound with commanding bass lines and Tiggy Horwood's hauntingly beautiful vocals and humble ukulele has come to complete the sound. the band is keen to gig regularly and secure more festival slots this coming summer.
The first EP has been put together and with Jamie and Ian studying in London, the renowned music scene is on their doorstep. If you like tunes that combine depth and fun with hooks for days then come and experience these ambitious, easy-going peaceful party people
