Creative walks during London Design Festival through Mayfair that will unveil the locale's diverse and unique relationship with craftsmanship. Walks end at the staircase to somewhere... Intrigued?

To celebrate London Design Festival, The New Craftsmen, a platform that supports British crafts, and Fox and Squirrel, London creative walks for the culturally curious, have come together to offer a series of walks that unveil the history of Mayfair though its craftsmanship.

Although the area is often associated with glitz and too much money, it also has a long standing heritage of craftsmanship. On this walk explore different histories that have helped shaped Mayfair into the area it is today. At the same time learn about the craftsmen who mould it into the luxurious destination that it is.

The walk ends with a talk at the staircase to somewhere, an installation commissioned by The New Craftsmen. The installation changes daily allowing for a different maker to exhibit his work in this innovative space. At the end of the walk a discussion on the works on display will take place.

Meeting time 10 am for a freshly brewed coffee.
Ending time 1.00 pm.
