At 7:30pm on Monday October 13th, London's Eroica Ensemble will present two masterpieces;
Debussy - Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune
Mahler - Symphony No. 4 in G major
The Eroica Ensemble was formed in 2012 and has since performed frequently in London under the baton of its founder, Toby Thatcher. It is a vibrant group of young music students and graduates, most of whom has connections with the Royal Academy of Music.
Toby graduated with a Masters from the Royal Academy in 2014, and is currently on trial with the Royal Philharmonic, and in 2014 performed as an instrumentalist with with the Philharmonia and the London Sinfonietta, both at the Royal Festival Hall. He recently was placed in the final four in the international application process for the position of Assistant Conductor at the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
